We would like one coordinator per county (more in St. Louis and Kansas City). This person will report directly to Donna and will be the eyes and ears for our campaign. You will manage all the volunteers in your county, appoint precinct captains, let us know about events and assist your fundraising team with orchestrating fund raisers.
We need folks with pick up trucks who will scout out good locations for signs, ask property owners for permission to place a sign in high traffic areas, keep a list of where the signs are located and make sure they are in good repair.
We need people who can help raise money for the campaign. This means making contact with major donors and setting up appointments for Rep. Davis to call of meet in person with them. You will also help plan fundraisers in your area and manage the invitation list.
We need people who can recruit, organize and mobilize volunteers for parades, literature drops, phone calling and passing out cards at fairs and festivals.
20 Mile Teams:
These are organizations of students, church groups or other civic groups who are willing to show up and walk in parades, do rooster calls, build floats, literature drops or help with fundraisers.
This is the perfect job for those who don't like direct interaction with voters. We need some people who can manage lists and massage data to help the party. The information we glean from this campaign will be valuable for all other Constitution Party candidates in all future campaigns.
We need people in every precinct who will be willing to stand at the polls for a few hours on November 6th, 2012 and hold up a sign, encouraging people to support Rep. Davis. If you want to do a practice run, please consider doing it the first Tuesday of August as well because even though you will not affect the outcome, the voters who come to the polls in August will be back in November and it would be a good opportunity for passing out literature and increasing name recognition.
