To Concerned Show Me State Voters
In times of great uncertainty and unrest, times of economic turmoil and international peril, we seek leaders with honor, principle, knowledge and fortitude. We desire those who know that principles are matters of heartfelt conviction that will neither seek nor accept compromise. Indeed leaders who understand that which accepts compromise is merely opinion. It is time for leaders who know that the issues are societal symptoms and the U.S. Constitution is the cure.
The Constitution is the Supreme Law of the land as stated in Article VI, and as required by Article VI our leaders swear an oath to uphold and defend it. This requires knowing the Constitution and obeying it. A true leader sees this as a sacred vow, not an empty ceremony. We desperately need leaders who know that the Constitution is the civil law of restraint on government, imposed by "we the people... Such leaders know that the people are the masters, not the servants.
As a former candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives and the Chairman of the Jackson County Central Committee for the Constitution Party, using these criteria, I wholeheartedly give my personal endorsement to Cynthia Davis for Missouri Lieutenant Governor.
Sincerely,
Dave Lay
